Taken back from gate 12, raced at tail, 9 lengths or so back in the middle stages, commenced move 400M, 6 lengths back turning in, taken wide in straight and finished off strongly to make frame, nearest finish.

Leaving the 1100 Metres was eased to avoid KING MILES which shifted in and away from FUN ELITE despite the efforts of its rider. Leaving the 300 Metres lay in and as a result made contact with SUPERB BOY. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 3 wide in midfield, 3 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

Shifted out at the start and bumped FUN ELITE. Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider H Bowman changing his whip through to his right hand near the 150 Metres.

Moderately away, positioned 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, same margin back turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

After travelling a short distance made contact with NOT USUAL PICK which was taken out. After being held up for clear running in the early stages of the Home Straight was then steadied when disappointed between FUN ELITE and SUPERB BOY. As a result FIND MY LOVE did not obtain clear running until near the 200 Metres.

Out in line, positioned 2 wide slightly better than midfield, peaked 350M, weakened gradually in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began well from gate 1, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, same position on turn, kept on well until approaching final 50M, weakened thereafter.

Bumped at the start. Apprentice P N Wong stated that from a wide barrier she had to make some use of her mount in the early stages to cross runners to her inside. She said as a result FUN ELITE, which was racing first up, did not finish the race off and would derive a fitness benefit from tonight’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Average to begin, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, peaked on run 200M, weakened final 100M.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, made some progress early in straight, no extra final 150M.

Bumped leaving the 300 Metres. L Hewitson could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race behind midfield on the outside, commenced move approaching 400M, 5 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Bumped at the start. Bumped after travelling a short distance. Lay in on the first turn after being crossed by YOUNG EMPEROR.

Moderately away from a wide draw, unable to slot in, trapped wide with no cover, 2 lengths or so back, dropped towards rear after passing 550M, emptied early in straight, eased thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Slow to begin. Approaching the 1000 Metres NOT USUAL PICK lay in towards ORIGIN OF FORM, resulting in ORIGIN OF FORM racing tight to the inside of that runner for a short distance.

Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on very well in straight, just held on.
