Results
Jumped awkwardly, raced 3 wide slightly behind midfield, similar position on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared after passing 200M, finished off well to take a place.
Out with rest, raced prominently, 3 away from the stands' rail, hit the front 250M, kept on very well to score on his debut.
Taken back to race towards rear on the outside, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place, nearest on line.
Bumped on jumping, raced behind midfield on the stands' side, hard ridden 300M, peaked 200M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)
Began well from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed some response early in straight, no clear run final 150M.
Bumped on jumping, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame without threatening.

RIBCHESTER, former Godolphin’s runner was trained by Richard Fahey with a record of 6 wins, 5 seconds and 3 thirds in 16 starts. His stylish 2nd in G2 Gimcrack Stakes caught Godolphin’s eye and landed G2 Mill Reef Stakes afterwards. He continued his steady performance at age 3 where finished 3rd in 2,000 Guineas and notched G1 Prix Jacques le Marois, then he kept on his strike at 4YO with 3rd in Dubai Turf, 1st in Lockinge Stakes, course-record breaking win in Queen Anne Stakes and Prix du Moulin de Longchamp. After finished 5th in Breeders' Cup Mile at Del Mar, the colt commenced stud duties in 2018 at Ireland and also moved to Australia at the same year and New Zealand in 2020 while he now stationed at Haunui Farm with 10 black type contest winners including 2024 Dubai Turf winner FACTEUR CHEVAL. His fee in 2025 is NZD$10,000. GLORIASTAR was purchased by Upper Bloodstock at NZD$ 120,000 in 2023 NZB Ready To Run Sale where he finished 200M in 10.73s during the breeze up run. He was trained by Ben & Ryan Foote in New Zealand and took part in 3 barrier trials where he led early but just caught for 2nd in an 800M section (11th Jun 2024) on heavy ground, then settled at rear under restraint and made ground for 5th between horses in an 850M trial (18th Nov 2024) on good going. On his last trial over 1100M (3rd Dec 2024), he settled at second last and ran on along outside to win under hard riding on soft going. Former HK runner EMERALD SPUR with 2 wins at 1400M is his half-brother. The son of RIBCHESTER should be most suited over mile or upper in distance and fine on soft going.
