Slightly slow out and crowded, raced behind midfield on the inside, unable to maintain position from 550M, 7 to 8 lengths back turning in, eased early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Irregular heart rhythm.)

Bumped shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, showed limited response in straight, no clear run final 75M.

Over the final 250 Metres lay out under pressure, resulting in its rider K Teetan having to straighten his mount near the 150 Metres. K Teetan was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 4 consecutive strides near the 180 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide turning in, peaked early in straight, kept on evenly to the line.

Bumped at the start. Near the 500 Metres shifted out and made contact with YOUNG BRILLIANT. Near the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between CALL ME TOPSEED and VIVA GRACIOUSNESS. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced in midfield on the outside, very wide into straight, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of KEEN MOLLY to continue into clear running.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to take the lead, travelled well to turn, peaked and headed early in straight, stayed on evenly to take 3rd.

After being crossed by KEEN MOLLY near the 1500 Metres was then steadied to avoid KEEN MOLLY, resulting in STAR CONTACT making the first turn wider. STAR CONTACT was then allowed to stride forward near the 1200 Metres to avoid racing wide and without cover.

Began well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, peaked on run 550M, dropped towards rear after passing 450M, emptied early in straight, eased final 100M.

Bumped at the start. After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount raced keenly in the lead. He added that when STAR CONTACT improved to his outside near the 1000 Metres this resulted in ANOTHER ZONDA continuing to race keenly and setting a faster early pace than he anticipated.

Began well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, a bit closer on turn, 2 wide from 350M, took the lead early in straight, kept on strongly to the line and scored.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event C L Chau stated that with the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time his mount was under pressure to hold its position behind midfield. He added that when he placed the horse under pressure in the Home Straight EMBRACES finished the race off reasonably well. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Clean jump, positioned 2 wide slightly behind midfield, commenced move 500M, 3 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight to take 2nd, nearest on line.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on outer, 7 lengths or so back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Bumped shortly after the start. Bumped near the 500 Metres. Y L Chung was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on three occasions in the Home Straight.

Taken back from gate 11, raced at rear on the inside, 7 lengths back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Incident Report
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event J Orman stated that with the early and middle stages of the race being run inside of standard time his mount travelled only fairly at the rear of the field. He added that in the Home Straight PRESTIGE GOOD made some ground but, in his opinion, was not comfortable on the "Good to Firm” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly and made contact with the left side of its starting gate, raced towards rear on the outside, 5 lengths or so back turning in, finished off well to make frame.

Jumped only fairly. Near the 1500 Metres made contact with CALL ME TOPSEED when racing tight to the inside of STAR CONTACT when that runner shifted in and away from KEEN MOLLY.
