Began only fairly, raced 3 wide behind midfield early, a bit closer after entering the back straight, positioned 2 wide in midfield in the middle stages, commenced move 600M, finished off well to take 2nd but always held.

Taken back from gate 10, raced at tail, 12 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

When questioned regarding her riding tactics leaving the 700 Metres when commencing a run three wide at that point with the first section of the race being run inside standard Apprentice P N Wong conceded that in hindsight she had erred by commencing a run too soon and that she should have waited longer before sustaining a run so far from the finish. The Stewards informed Apprentice Wong that she had erred on this occasion and should be mindful to ensure that her mounts are ridden in a manner that gain the best possible placing in the finish. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began smartly from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on very well in straight to hold off the challengers.

After the event Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his instructions were to take up a forward position but was unable to do so after his mount was slow to begin.

Noted to have blood in its mouth at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 500 Metres lay in under pressure and was steadied away from the heels of FIT FOR BEAUTY. After the event K Teetan reported that his mount jumped very well and from a wide barrier he endeavoured to take advantage of this by obtaining a more forward position with cover.

Away well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, kept on well in straight but always held.

After the event C Y Ho reported that his mount raced too keenly during the race which he felt was detrimental to its overall performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
