Began only fairly from gate 1, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 to 6 lengths back, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened 150M, eased final 100M.

Taken back to race at rear on the inside, 7 lengths or so back, last turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. Leaving the 300 Metres was steadied and shifted to the inside of FLYING TING LOK to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away well, positioned 2 wide better than midfield, wider turning in, finished off well to make frame, always just held.

Leaving the 700 Metres got its head up when racing keenly. Near the 200 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions and taken wider by FLYING TING LOK which shifted to the outside of SPICY SPANGLE to obtain clear running.

Bumped start, raced in midfield on the inside, angled out approaching 400M, 4 lengths back turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 50M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Near the 350 Metres lay in when being steadied to avoid DIVINE MOONLIGHT. After the event H Bentley reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Crowded start, raced at tail, 8 lengths or so back, moved closer after passing 600M, 5 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.
