Average to begin, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide on turn, bumped near 450M, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, commenced move after passing 800M, 3 lengths or so back on turn, made good progress in straight to take a place without threatening. (See Racing Incidents.)

On jumping was crowded between DENFIELD and FORTUNE WARRIOR, both of which shifted ground slightly. When caught wide in the early stages was shifted across behind runners approaching the first turn to obtain a position closer to the rail. Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the inside of GOLDEN DARCI to improve. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide slightly better than midfield early, dropped to midfield after entering the back straight, bumped near 450M, 3 lengths back turning in, closed off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

When questioned Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount was a little fractious in the starting gates and as the start was effected he had his hand on the barrier partition. He said as a result DENFIELD jumped only fairly and then after shifting out and making contact with TACTICAL COMMAND his mount was unable to take up a more forward position. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Made contact at start, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground to turn, no clear run early in straight, kept on same pace thereafter.

After the event K Teetan stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer D Eustace confirmed the instructions issued.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the inside, commenced move 500M, very wide turning in, made no progress in straight.

After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount hung out making the Home Turn.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide better than midfield, moved closer 650M, 3/4L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid FREE PONY (C L Chau) which shifted in when not clear. C L Chau was reprimanded. Near the 250 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by CIRCUIT DUFFY which lay in. When questioned Z Purton stated that his mount jumped awkwardly, shortly after the start shifted out and away from GOLDEN DARCI, made contact with LUCKY KING and as a result he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to hold a forward position. He said BIENVENUE then raced keenly in the early and middle stages and after shifting to the outside of DENFIELD leaving the 500 Metres it then raced tight to the inside of CIRCUIT DUFFY for some distance thereafter before finishing the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, BIENVENUE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slightly slow out and made contact, raced towards rear on the outside, commenced move 800M, 2 lengths or so back on turn, finished off strongly to score. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start was bumped by BIENVENUE and became unbalanced.

Shifted in at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, found rail near 1400M, led by 3/4L in the middle stages, headed and dropped towards rear 600M, hampered near 500M, eased thereafter.

After the event A Atzeni reported that his mount raced too keenly in the early and middle stages. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight LOVING VIBES did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Slightly slow out and bumped, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths back turning in, made some progress early in straight, no clear run final 100M.

Shifted out at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, moved closer after entering the back straight, positioned 3 wide, a length or so back on turn, showed some response early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened close home.

Jumped only fairly, raced in midfield on outer, dropped towards rear 800M, 5 lengths or so back on turn, failed to close off in straight.

Shortly after the start was bumped by LUCKY KING and became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of FREE PONY. From the 800 Metres was left racing very wide and without cover. Near the 250 Metres lay in and made contact with BIENVENUE.

Began well from gate 1, raced prominently on the inside, allowed rival to cross 1400M, 2 wide from 1100M, took the lead 600M, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 100M, weakened late.

Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, ALL’S WELL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
