Crowded on jumping, taken back to race 2 wide at rear, 8 lengths back turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Briefly held up for clear running near the 250 Metres when obtaining a narrow run between EVERSTAR and LOVING VIBES. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out at start and bumped, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, failed to close off in straight. (Blood in trachea.)

Began smartly from the widest draw, sent forward to take the lead, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 50M.

Had its left hind plate refitted in the holding stables, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Leaving the 800 Metres lost ground when being steadied away from FATAL BLOW. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, when being steadied to obtain cover behind SOLAR RIVER, commenced to race keenly, got its head up and became unbalanced.

Jumped well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, 3/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, steadied near 100M, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly. Lay out making the first turn and approaching the 900 Metres got its head up when racing to the inside of LOVING VIBES. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well, taken back to race behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths back on turn, made some progress early in straight, peaked on run 100M, weakened gradually thereafter. (Jockey dropped whip 100M.)
