In the early stages raced keenly and approaching the 1000 Metres got its head up when being checked away from MANYTHANKS FOREVER. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 550M, 5 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, when racing keenly, was crowded by SO AWESOME when that runner shifted in, resulting in GLUCK RACER having to be steadied. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, taken wide in straight and made very good progress, nearest finish.

On jumping shifted in, made heavy contact with FAMILY FORTUNE and became unbalanced. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned to the inside of GANGNAM STAR which shifted in. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After obtaining cover near the 1000 Metres commenced to race keenly for some distance thereafter and was steadied away from SUNNY SHINES. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, UNIVERSAL BLAZE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
