Taken back to race 2 wide behind midfield, wider 400M, failed to close off in straight. (Blood in trachea.) (See Racing Incidents.)

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, raced prominently, 2 wide, 1/2L back, same position on turn, hit the front 200M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Whilst proceeding to the Start, A Hamelin was dislodged and after arriving at the Start riderless the horse was resaddled.

Out in line, trapped very wide in midfield early, slightly taken back after passing 1000M, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield in the middle stages, very wide turning in, made minor progress in straight.

Crowded shortly after the start. Approaching the 1500 Metres was eased when tightened for room between CALIFORNIA VOCE and CHAIN OF GOLD which shifted out slightly. Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out to the finish when racing in restricted room between SOLEIL FIGHTER and SIMPLY MAVERICK.

Out with rest, raced in midfield, 3 wide, carried wider approaching 400M, very wide into straight and lost place, finished off evenly.

After the event, A Atzeni could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Near the 550 Metres brushed the running rail. Over the final 150 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be tested when positioned behind SOLEIL FIGHTER.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on same pace in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Crowded shortly after start, positioned 3 wide, a length or so back, 2 wide from 800M, 3 wide turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.
