Began well from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off strongly to score by a neck.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 100M. (Lame right front leg next day morning.)

No report. <8/6/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that YODA’S CHOICE was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, YODA’S CHOICE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, commenced move 500M, 3 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, kept on evenly to the line.

K Teetan reported that his mount did not appreciate the "Wet Slow” track conditions of the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, NIGHT PUROSANGUE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Slightly slow out and crowded, raced 2 wide towards rear, 7-1/2L back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by ARIEL (Apprentice H Y Yuen) which shifted in. Apprentice Yuen was reprimanded. Leaving the 50 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when improving to the inside of NIGHT PUROSANGUE which was giving ground.

Away with them, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield, very wide turning in, made no impression in straight.

Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that her mount failed to travel at any stage of the event and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began awkwardly and made contact, raced at rear, 8 lengths back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

H Bowman stated that his mount anticipated the start and as a result jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with CHARITY GAIN. He said in the early stages he rode his mount along to endeavour to hold a more forward position but ALLCASH did not respond to his efforts to do so and as a result settled back in the field. He said ALLCASH did not appreciate racing on the "Wet Slow” track conditions and in particular due to the kickback. He added that for some distance approaching the 400 Metres ALLCASH was held up for clear running behind ARIEL but in the Home Straight did not respond to his riding. Trainer C S Shum concurred with the views offered by Jockey Bowman. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ALLCASH was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race start. Before being allowed to race again, ALLCASH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away from a tricky draw, raced 3 wide better than midfield, no cover throughout, peaked 500M, weakened thereafter. (Bled.)

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, GLORIOUS ST PAUL’S will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
