Away fast, restrained to race in midfield, brought wide in the straight and closed off strongly to lead close home. (Trainer - advantaged by racing over HV 1000M where it had performed well.)

Bumped on jumping. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer A S Cruz stated that the horse was advantaged by racing over 1000 Metres at the Happy Valley track where it had performed well in previous race starts. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped in line, dropped back to sit behind mid-division, brought widest for his challenge in the straight, closed off well to go 2nd near line.

From draw 1 sat handily behind leaders, moved up to challenge for the lead early straight, led inside 200M and had every chance, caught by first two late stages.

Crowded for room after the start, ended up racing at the back of the field, had some work to do top of the straight, closed off fastest and almost claimed 3rd.

Shortly after the start was crowded between CASA OF HONOR which was taken out by HORSEPOWER and CENTRAL BANK which was racing tight to the inside of YOUTHFUL SPIRITS.

In midfield early stages before moving closer to track leaders entering home turn, driven final 200M and went to the line well. (Jockey - requested to take up a forward position from wide draw.)

Crowded shortly after the start. For a short distance approaching the 150 Metres was hampered when taken wider by CASA OF HONOR. C L Chau confirmed that from his wide barrier he was requested to take up a forward position.

Jumped only fairly, travelled in mid-pack along the fence, kept on steadily in the straight without posing threat to leaders.

Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start made contact with SUPERB CAPITALIST and then shifted out and made contact with HORSEPOWER.

Soon in front setting the pace, pressured in the lead by rivals from 700M, run ended mid-straight and gave way.

Shifted in at the start and made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER. J Moreira reported that his mount was pressured in the lead by CASA OF HONOR and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Crowded after the start, soon moved forward and vied for the lead, couldn't go on mid-straight and weakened. (Jockey - disadvantaged when pressured in the lead.)

Crowded shortly after the start. M F Poon stated that the horse was disadvantaged when pressured in the lead, particularly when YOUTHFUL SPIRITS improved to its outside in the early stages. He said as a result CASA OF HONOR was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw and settled near last 6Ls off the pace, gave limited response in the straight. Never threatened.
