Taken back from the widest draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, 4 lengths or so back turning in, angled out early in straight, cleared 300M, finished off evenly.

Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid BUCEPHALAS (M Chadwick) which, after making contact with VOYAGE BOSS, then shifted in and away from that runner. M Chadwick was reprimanded and advised he would be expected to make an effort to straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 550M, failed to close off in straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <18/5/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports> After the race, SILVER UP was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SILVER UP was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer B Crawford this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SILVER UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide better than midfield, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line.

C L Chau stated that his mount did not travel well throughout the event and whilst it finished the race off in a satisfactory manner it was not comfortable on the "Yielding” track conditions. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly, raced at rear on the outside, improved on turn, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

In the early stages raced keenly. Near the 900 Metres was checked to avoid MEANINGFUL DRAGON (L Ferraris) which shifted in when not clear. L Ferraris was reprimanded.

Bumped at the start. M Chadwick stated that when he had concern with his mount’s action in the Home Straight he eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of BUCEPHALAS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BUCEPHALAS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. <3/6/2026 17 May 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting – Race 9 (702)> Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings.
