Shifted out at start, raced prominently on the stands' rail, hard ridden approaching 300M, finished off evenly.

Was leaning on the right side of the starting gate as the start was effected and as a result jumped only fairly. Near the 350 Metres was bumped by CHEERFUL WONGCHOY which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly from gate 1, raced prominently on the middle track, kept on well until approaching 100M, weakened gradually final 50M.

Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was badly held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began awkwardly and lost ground, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader, hard ridden after passing 300M but only showed limited response, kept on same pace to the line.

Near the 100 Metres was eased to avoid INVICTUS DRAGON when racing in restricted room between LUCKY MAN which shifted out slightly and INVICTUS DRAGON which shifted in.

Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/4L at 400M, hard ridden from 350M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M.

Near the 350 Metres shifted in and made contact with INVICTUS DRAGON. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running when awkwardly placed close to LUCKY BID.

Began well from gate 10, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' rail early, dropped towards rear gradually after passing 600M, failed to make any progress final 300M.

Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 400 Metres was eased to avoid LUCKY BID which shifted out and away from STAR SATYR. A Atzeni stated that the only explanation he could offer for the disappointing performance was that it did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. Trainer M Newnham concurred with the views offered by Jockey Atzeni. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

The performance of LEATHER GOODS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LEATHER GOODS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
