Shifted in on jumping and made contact with TACTICAL HORIZONS. Near the 200 Metres M F Poon dropped his whip. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Noted to have lost its right front plate and to have sustained a minor abrasion to the left front leg after the race.

Slightly slow out and crowded, showed no early speed, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made minor progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 500 Metres was bumped by LADY’S LOVE which was taken out. The explanation offered by K C Leung for returning to scale 2 lbs over the weight at which he weighed out at was accepted.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, easy run to turn, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, not quite able to challenge.

L Hewitson stated that his mount did not appreciate the "Soft” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, stayed on evenly to take a place.

On jumping was bumped by MAJESTIC VALOUR which shifted in.

Bumped start, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run until approaching final 100M, finished off well to be nearest on line.

Shifted in on jumping and made contact with MY MARS. Near the 300 Metres made contact with LADY’S LOVE due to both runners shifting ground. A Atzeni stated that his mount failed to handle the "Soft” track conditions. Trainer K L Man advised the horse had pleased him leading into the race and agreed with the assessment of Jockey Atzeni. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, enjoyed the easy lead to turn, kept on very well in straight and scored.

Near the 500 Metres shifted out and made contact with WINNING BUDDIES. Near the 300 Metres made contact with ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING due to both runners shifting ground.

Withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to be lame in the left hind leg prior to the race. Before being allowed to race again, DO YOU JUST will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
