He failed to make impact in some listed races and group events on his early stages of racing career where he broke his maiden in an 1100M maiden race at Kensington, Randwick, then collected 2 wins in a row afterwards and landed 1100M listed Ortensia Stakes under Tommy Berry at Rosehill as his first black type contest success. The colt notched G2 Schillaci Stakes with William Pike on board and ran on for 3rd in G1 Manikato Stakes. The son of WRITTEN TYCOON commenced stud duties since 2021 and stationed at Widden Stud with 1 black type contests winner. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 13,200.ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING was purchased by trainer Manfred Man at AUD$ 50,000 in 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale.
