On jumping PARROT BLESSING shifted in and away from ZOUPER FELLOW and made contact with ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING. Shortly after the start bumped with MEGA CAPTAIN. Sent for sampling post-race.

Near the 800 Metres was steadied when crowded between RAPID PHANTOM and PRECISION MIND which was taken out slightly by SUPER SIXTY when SUPER SIXTY shifted out and away from GRACEFUL HEART (L Hewitson) which shifted out. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care.

Moderately away from gate 1, showed good speed to take the lead on the far side, led by 3/4L at 400M, peaked and headed approaching 100M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.) (Bled.)

L Ferraris stated that when his mount jumped awkwardly and shifted in towards the inside rail he then elected to maintain his position towards the inside rail for the remainder of the event. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, STAR PERFORMER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Jumped only fairly, raced slightly behind midfield on the stands' side, inconvenienced near 650M, 3 to 4 lengths back at 400M, kept on one-paced to the line.

Jumped only fairly. For some distance after the 500 Metres raced tight to the outside of SUPER SIXTY. Over the final 300 Metres lay out.

Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING and CASA BUDDY which shifted out after being bumped by INVICTUS. C L Chau reported that his mount was unable to finish the race off over the concluding stages which he attributed to the horse racing without cover during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact shortly after start, raced better than midfield, 2 away from the stands' rail, dropped to midfield in the middle stages, hard ridden after passing 400M but showed no response, weakened thereafter.

E C W Wong stated that his mount came under pressure from the 500 Metres and failed to respond to his riding thereafter. He added that, in his opinion, the horse is better suited racing at Happy Valley. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped and unbalanced shortly after start, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.
