Slow to begin, taken back to race at rear on the outside, 6 lengths or so back, same margin back turning in, made some progress in the run home.

Apprentice H Y Yuen was reminded of her obligation under the Rules to ensure she rides her mounts out to the finish of the race and at the same time ensuring to have proper control of her mounts. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced 2 wide in midfield, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened approaching 200M, eased thereafter.

Incident Report
When negotiating the turn near the 700 Metres shifted in slightly, making contact with FLOWING RICHES, resulting in both horses getting unbalanced. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. Sent for sampling post-race.

Lifted front feet on jumping and away tardily, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run in straight, eased final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 700 Metres got unbalanced when bumped by SPEEDY SMARTIE. From the 400 Metres was unable to improve its position when held up for clear running inside SPEEDY SMARTIE before shifting out across that horse’s heels passing the 200 Metres to obtain clear running.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened gradually close home, just stayed on to take 2nd.
