Slowly away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 wide from 800M, 4 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, finished off evenly.

Began well from a wide draw, raced in 2nd early, positioned 2 wide better than midfield in the middle stages, peaked near 400M, weakened gradually in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped. Approaching the 300 Metres blundered when being shifted to the outside of WATCH THIS ONE to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 800M, moved closer after passing 650M, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead early in straight, kept on well to the line, won by a nose.

After travelling a short distance made contact with GOLDEN EMPIRE due to both runners shifting ground. Leaving the 900 Metres shifted in and made contact with GOLDEN EMPIRE.

Moderately away, raced 3 wide in midfield early, moved closer approaching 1600M, positioned 2 wide, 1/2L back in the middle stages, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter. (Lame left front leg next day.)

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after the start blundered when awkwardly placed on the heels of SUNNY Q when being shifted behind that runner. Held up making the Home Turn behind GOLDEN EMPIRE.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 wide from 750M, 3 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began only fairly from gate 1, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide after passing 800M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress early in straight, peaked 100M, kept on evenly to the line.

After travelling a short distance made contact with A TIME FOR US due to both runners shifting ground. Leaving the 900 Metres was bumped by A TIME FOR US which shifted in. Over the concluding stages raced tight between BITS SUPERSTAR and LEADING AGILITY, both of which shifted ground slightly. L Ferraris stated that his mount raced "flat” tonight.

Commenced well, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, finished off evenly.

Made contact at start, sent forward to take the lead, challenged by rival turning in, peaked and headed approaching 200M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between VIVA BOSS and THE HEIR which shifted out and away from BITS SUPERSTAR. H Bentley stated that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, travelled only fairly in the early stages but he was satisfied with its finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 9, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground throughout, made some progress early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 100M.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with ORIGIN OF FORM. Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of WATCH THIS ONE.

Moderately away from the widest draw, raced towards rear on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked on turn, weakened early in straight.

Incident Report
Near the 600 Metres was eased to avoid VIVA BOSS which lay out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Jumped well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off well but just lost out to the winner in a ding-dong finish.

Near the 500 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid WATCH THIS ONE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after the start. K C Leung stated that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and making the turn after the 600 Metres lay out. He added in the Home Straight the horse failed to respond to his riding and gave ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
