CONTRIBUTER, son of HIGH CHAPARRAL with a record of 8 wins, 2 seconds and 2 thirds in 18 starts. He was under Edward Dunlop’s yard at the beginning of his racing career in Great Britain with a success in Wolferton Handicap Stakes and made frame in G3 Dee Stakes. He was sold to Godolphin afterwards and transferred to John O' Shea’s stable in Australia. After touching down in Australia, he landed G1 Chipping Norton Stakes and Ranvet Stakes with James McDonald on board. CONTRIBUTER commenced stud duties in 2016 with 12 black type contest winners while John O'Shea-trained LION’S ROAR, champion of 2021 Randwick Guineas as his representative. CONTRIBUTER passed away in September, 2024. VIVA BOSS was trained by Hamish Auret in New Zealand and took part in an 850M trial (24th Jun 2025) where he led all the way to win on heavy ground. Same sire runners could handle further in distance. His dam POLASET was place-getters over 1000M and 1200M at Kembla Grange respectively and her foal HIGHLY LETHAL won at 1400M and 2050M. The bay gelding should be able to handle mile and fine at Happy Valley.
