J Moreira could offer no excuse for the horse’s failure to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Trainer C Fownes advised that the horse had pleased him leading into the race and could offer no explanation for the horse’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
