Out with rest, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, took the lead near 950M, shared lead with rival turning in, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Slow to begin. Making the Home Turn raced ungenerously when being shifted out to secure clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Clean jump, raced prominently on the inside, travelled well to turn, took the lead early in straight, kept on well but unable to hold off the first few on line.

Jumped only fairly, shifted in and made contact with ARIEL. Lay in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on jumping, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide turning in, finished off strongly, just beaten by a neck.

Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. C Y Ho reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position but after shifting out on jumping and making contact with SUPERB GUY his mount did not show sufficient pace to go forward.

Crowded start, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, a bit closer on turn, angled out early in straight, finished off strongly to snatch victory in a ding-dong finish.

Slow to begin. M F Poon was severely reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides approaching the 150 Metres.

Shifted out at start and bumped, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, 4 lengths or so back turning in, made very good progress in straight, just beaten in a ding-dong battle.

Near the 300 Metres lay in and away from SWAGGER BRO and was steadied to avoid CALIFORNIA STAR. Near the 100 Metres was again steadied to avoid BULL ATTITUDE (A Badel) which shifted to the outside of CALIFORNIA STAR to improve. A Badel was advised to exercise more care.

Jumped only fairly and then was hampered when bumped by FIREFOOT which shifted out. M Chadwick reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to obtain cover on the horse. Trainer K W Lui confirmed the instructions issued.

Made contact at start, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 5 lengths or so back, angled out 450M, made some progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped on jumping. Raced wide and without cover until near the 900 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away with them, positioned 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, there to turn, made minor progress early in straight, no extra final 150M.

A Atzeni stated that his mount led the event as expected. He said when he asked for an effort in the Home Straight the horse failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SIGHT DREAMER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
