Commenced well, raced 2 wide slightly better than midfield, there to turn, kept on same pace in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, found rail approaching 800M, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared 300M, finished off strongly to score.

Jumped well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept to inside after straightening and made good progress, not quite able to challenge.

Jumped only fairly. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, C L Chau stated that after improving to the inside of COPARTNER PRANCE near the 200 Metres he then directed SUNLIGHT POWER to the outside of DROMBEG BANNER to secure clear running that was available. He said as he attempted to obtain this run, PATCH OF THETA shifted in slightly and DROMBEG BANNER (A Atzeni) shifted out which resulted in SUNLIGHT POWER being disappointed for clear running and not being able to be ridden out over the final 50 Metres. A Atzeni was advised in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts when they shift ground whilst not clear. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced towards rear, found rail 1000M, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, made some progress thereafter.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Began only fairly, raced in midfield on the inside, 5 lengths back, 2 wide from 550M, same margin back turning in, finished off strongly to take a place, nearest finish.

Near the 500 Metres was steadied when crowded between KEEFY and SUNLIGHT POWER (C L Chau) which shifted out. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care. Held up between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear, 6 lengths or so back turning in, finished off evenly. (Roarer.)

After the event, Z Purton reported that his mount raced too keenly in the early and middle stages when positioned outside the leader DROMBEG BANNER and as a result COPARTNER PRANCE did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Average to begin, tracked leaders, 2 wide, 2 lengths or so back on turn, hard ridden from 350M, took the lead approaching 150M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M.

Jumped only fairly. Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 200 Metres and the 150 Meres when racing tight between KEEFY and DANCING CODE which shifted in slightly.

Made contact at start, raced at tail, 9 lengths or so back on turn, very wide into straight, made no impression in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
