Crowded shortly after start, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, a bit closer on turn, 2 wide after passing 500M, no clear run early in straight, kept on evenly thereafter.

On jumping was crowded between RAINBOW WARRIOR and LUCKY MAN. Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when improving into a narrow run between THE HEIR and YOUNG HORIZON and as a result made contact with YOUNG HORIZON near the 350 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped with them, raced behind midfield on outer, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to go forward. He said when FRANTANCK jumped only fairly and did not show sufficient pace in the early stages despite being ridden along it settled further back in the field than intended.

Shifted in at start and bumped, positioned 2 wide in midfield, similar position on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

When placed under pressure over the final 200 Metres lay out.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, hard ridden approaching 350M, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Near the 100 Metres was eased when momentarily crowded between ENDEARED and FLYING BOOM which shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Began only fairly, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made minor progress early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Near the 500 Metres bumped with BRIGHT DAY and became unbalanced.

Jumped only fairly and was then shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

Shifted in on jumping and bumped ENDEARED. R Kingscote stated that from a wide barrier he had to make use of his mount in the early stages to take up a position outside the lead. He said as a result LUCKY MAN could not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Shifted out at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, peaked and headed 300M, weakened gradually final 100M.

H Bowman stated his instructions were to take up an on-pace position if his mount jumped well but not to make use of it as SUPER LOVE does not finish its races off when being ridden in this manner. He said when SUPER LOVE jumped well today he felt he would be able to cross THE HEIR but when THE HEIR held its position to his inside he was obliged to race very wide and without cover thereafter as he was of the opinion he would have had to ride contrary to his instructions to make use of SUPER LOVE in the early stated to cross that runner. He added due to racing very wide his mount did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
