Shortly after the start was crowded between PRESTIGE GOOD and ANOTHER WORLD which shifted in and away from MORGAN SUCCESS. Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider K Teetan correcting his mount approaching the 50 Metres.

Bumped start, raced in midfield on the outside, there to turn, made some progress early in straight, peaked on run 150M, ran on evenly to the line.

Made contact at start, raced behind midfield on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, finished off evenly.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. C Y Ho stated that the intention was to hold an on-pace position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to continue forward to cross runners to his inside to avoid covering additional ground.

Made contact at start, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, 2 wide on turn, angled out after passing 500M, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Bumped shortly after the start. C L Chau was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 150 Metres (see WINNING GOLD). Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Began only fairly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared near 250M, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

On jumping was crowded by WINNING GOLD which shifted out. Held up for clear running until near the 300 Metres.

Quickly into stride, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 400 Metres was held up for clear running before being shifted to the inside of LEGENDARY YEARS to obtain clear running. Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of ANOTHER WORLD. H Bowman reported that the intention was to be more forward but after his mount commenced only fairly and then was crowded to the inside of BEAUTY BOLT it then settled further back in the field than intended.

Bumped on jumping, raced 2 wide in midfield, difficult to settle in the early stages, found rail near 800M, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final furlong.

On jumping shifted out and made contact with MISTER DAPPER, resulting in SPIRIT OF PEACE shifting in and making contact with POPE CODY soon after. Between the 450 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.

Bumped start and unbalanced, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 9 lengths or so back turning in, made some headway in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 1200 Metres commenced to race keenly and was checked to avoid PRESTIGE GOOD.

Average to begin, raced at rear, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Leaving the 400 Metres was briefly held up for clear running behind BEAUTY BOLT. Near the 250 Metres was momentarily crowded by POPE CODY which shifted in.

Bumped start, took the early lead, headed and made contact near 900M, 2nd on turn, hard ridden after passing 350M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 150M.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. C L Chau (PRESTIGE GOOD) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of WINNING GOLD, resulting in WINNING GOLD having to be checked to avoid PRESTIGE GOOD. C L Chau was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 1 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record.

Incident Report
L Ferraris advised that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
