Leaving the 500 Metres was steadied away from STAR PERFORMER when taken out slightly by HEALTHY HEALTHY. Sent for sampling post-race.

Average to begin, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed good response in straight, took the lead 75M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Near the 350 Metres was shifted out to improve and made contact with STAR PERFORMER. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away with them, raced better than midfield but trapped wide early, slightly taken back after passing 800M, positioned 2 wide in midfield on turn, angled out 350M, finished off strongly to take a place, nearest on line.

When placed under pressure in the Home Straight lay in, resulting in its rider C Y Ho changing his whip through to his right hand near the 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

L Ferraris reported that when his mount jumped only fairly it settled further back in the field than what he had intended.

Near the 350 Metres was bumped by HEALTHY HEALTHY when that runner shifted out to improve. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. D Probert reported that he was instructed to endeavour to hold an on-pace position.

Crowded shortly after start, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 500 Metres commenced to race keenly and was then checked to avoid CIRCUIT HAPPY when that runner was steadied away from DAY DAY VICTORY. Held up making the Home Turn when being steadied away from DAY DAY VICTORY.

Shifted out abruptly at start, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead near 900M, shared lead with rival on turn, weakened early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind MR DESIRA.

Began well, raced better than midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked 100M, weakened gradually final 50M.

Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of MR DESIRA to continue into clear running.

Jumped awkwardly, raced behind midfield on the outside early, found rail 600M, 4 lengths back turning in, made some headway in straight.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with LUCKY TWENTY, resulting in LEAN MASTER becoming unbalanced. Apprentice P N Wong stated that after jumping awkwardly her mount settled further back in the field than what had been intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began only fairly, raced 2 wide at rear, 5 lengths back on turn, made minor progress in straight.

On jumping was crowded between DAY DAY VICTORY and LEAN MASTER which shifted out, resulting in LUCKY TWENTY becoming unbalanced. J Orman reported that he was able to take up an on-pace position as he had been instructed. He said in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding and the only explanation he could offer was that when the horse won its first race start on 9 July 2025 it was advantaged by being able to obtain a position on the running rail. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
