Average to begin, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 6 lengths or so back, 3 wide turning in, finished off evenly.

Began only fairly, raced 3 wide behind midfield early, a bit closer after entering the back straight, positioned 2 wide in midfield in the middle stages, commenced move 600M, finished off well to take 2nd but always held.

Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Out with rest, raced towards rear, 10 lengths or so back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly. Approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running between WONDERSTAR and CASA OF HONOR which shifted out, resulting in YOUTHFUL SPIRITS becoming unbalanced near the 150 Metres.

Blundered badly on jumping, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, made no impression in straight.

Proved difficult to proceed to the Start. A warning was placed on the horse regarding its pre-race parade manners.

L Hewitson (METRO POWER) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that after passing the 500 Metres he permitted his mount to shift out leaving insufficient room for PACKING BOLE and FAST RESPONDER which were racing to his outside, resulting in FAST RESPONDER being checked and losing its rightful running. L Hewitson was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Sunday, 26 October 2025 at Sha Tin. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record.

Taken back from gate 10, raced at tail, 12 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

Jumped awkwardly and was then checked between SUPERB KING which shifted out after being bumped by THE ALL OUT and SIR CHARGE which shifted in before being straightened by its rider.

Away well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, kept on well in straight but always held.

Jumped awkwardly. L Hewitson was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference after passing the 500 Metres (see FAST RESPONDER). After the event L Hewitson could offer no excuse for his mount’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began smartly from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on very well in straight to hold off the challengers.

After the event Z Purton was of the view that his mount would derive benefit from today’s first up effort. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped with them, raced at rear throughout, never a factor. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began well from gate 13, raced better than midfield on the outside, unable to maintain position from 600M, eased final 500M.

Jumped awkwardly. Crowded for room after passing the 500 Metres. After the event Apprentice P N Wong was of the view that PACKING BOLE is better suited on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

On jumping got unbalanced after shifting in and making contact with QUICK MONEY.

After the event B Avdulla reported that, in his opinion, STELLAR EXPRESS was on the wrong section of the track from barrier 1 which he felt was detrimental to his mount’s chances today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well, raced 2 wide towards rear, 9 lengths or so back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.
