Moderately away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, no clear run until 200M, weakened gradually thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Shortly after the start was hampered when taken wider by DAILY TROPHY which shifted out. Leaving the 1000 Metres shifted out and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced behind midfield on the outside, 3 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Leaving the 1000 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded between BLAZING WIND and BEAUTY FORMULA which lay out before being corrected by its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away well, positioned a length behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run until near 200M, kept on evenly to the line.

Lunged forward as the start was effected.

Began well from a wide draw, trapped 4 wide with in midfield in the early stages, found a 3 wide spot near 750M, 2 lengths or so back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Bumped at the start. Hampered near the 100 Metres when JOLLY COMPANION shifted out.

Began well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/4L in the middle stages, peaked and headed 300M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Jumped awkwardly, became unbalanced, shifted out, made contact with GIMME FIVE and lost ground. Approaching the 100 Metres shifted out, resulting in its rider Apprentice P N Wong having to stop riding and straighten.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 lengths back, there to turn, no clear run early in straight, made no progress thereafter.

Bumped start, positioned 3 wide slightly behind midfield, 3 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly and then was steadied when crowded between GIMME FIVE and MEEPMEEP. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, sent forward to race prominently, 2 wide, there to turn, took the lead approaching 300M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner late.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run until approaching 100M, closed off well to take a place, no threat to the first two.

J Orman was reprimanded in relation to using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on one occasion near the 150 Metres.

Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, no daylight early in straight, cleared near 200M, finished off very strongly, led close home.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY FORMULA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
