Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challengers.

Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 250 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of VICTOR THE RAPID to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from gate 12, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

Made contact shortly after start, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to THRIVING BROTHERS which shifted in.

Began awkwardly, raced 3 wide with cover at rear, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, very wide into straight, made no progress in the run home. (A small laceration to the right front leg.)

Bumped shortly after the start. In the middle stages raced keenly. For some distance near the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid ROMANTIC SON. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slightly slow out, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Taken back from gate 11, raced behind midfield on the outside, very wide into straight, made some progress in the run home.

Near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid CHILL BUDDY which was giving ground. After the event H T Mo reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Crowded start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, found rail near 850M, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, kept on well in straight to make frame, always held.

Incident Report
Had its left front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. After the event M F Poon reported that he had to make some use of his mount in the early stages to lead. He said his mount was then further disadvantaged when DRAGON FOUR SEAS placed pressure on him during the middle stages which resulted in COPARTNER FLEET not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start and unbalanced, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on rail, slightly improved along the rail on turn, angled out 350M, finished off strongly, just beaten by a nose. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount became unbalanced making the Home Turn and then was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
