Taken back from gate 11, raced behind midfield on the outside, very wide into straight, made some progress in the run home.

Crowded start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, found rail near 850M, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, kept on well in straight to make frame, always held.

Shortly after the start was crowded. In this incident was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Near the 550 Metres was momentarily crowded between MEGA BONUS and ALWAYS MY FOLKS which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped start and unbalanced, raced 2 wide in midfield, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 350 Metres was steadied when racing tight to the inside of NIGHT PUROSANGUE which shifted in when being steadied to avoid BETTER AND BETTER. Near the 200 Metres was again steadied and shifted to the outside of BROWNNEEDSFURTHER to continue into clear running.

Away well, raced better than midfield, 2 wide, angled out 350M, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Near the 100 Metres made contact with ALWAYS MY FOLKS.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challengers.

Lost its left front plate after leaving the Parade Ring, was replated at the Start and found suitable to race. Jumped only fairly. Near the 100 Metres made contact with CALIFORNIA BLITZ. After the event K Teetan stated that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position. He said when caught very wide on the first turn he had to continue forward and cross runners to his inside but when unable to cross LUCKY SAM GOR and MEGA BONUS, his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added this was the reason why his mount gave ground over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact shortly after start, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between LUCKY SAM GOR which shifted out after making contact with MEGA BONUS and SOLAR RIVER which shifted in and away from LA MOMENTO after making contact with that runner. Near the 350 Metres was steadied to avoid BETTER AND BETTER.

Bumped shortly after start and unbalanced, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on rail, slightly improved along the rail on turn, angled out 350M, finished off strongly, just beaten by a nose. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly. After the event M F Poon stated that his mount became unbalanced after being bumped by BROWNNEEDSFURTHER near the 400 Metres and did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began awkwardly, raced 3 wide with cover at rear, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, very wide into straight, made no progress in the run home. (A small laceration to the right front leg.)

On jumping made contact with LA MOMENTO and shifted in, resulting in SOLAR RIVER making contact with NIGHT PUROSANGUE and becoming unbalanced.

Average to begin, raced in 2nd, 1/2L back turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place, always just held.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event K De Melo stated that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, there to turn, finished off evenly.

Bumped at the start. After the event Y L Chung stated that his mount hung out making the turns in the middle stages and as a result was eased down in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The racing manners and performance of LA MOMENTO, which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LA MOMENTO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
