Jumped well from a widest draw, raced better than midfield on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, kept on evenly early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Began only fairly, raced towards rear, 5 lengths back turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to make frame, no threat to the first few.

Approaching the 150 Metres was shifted to the outside of YUEN LONG ELITE to obtain clear running and made contact with GOOD LUCK BABE. After the event K Teetan stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position but his mount did not show sufficient pace to do so despite riding it along in the early stages.

Jumped well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, travelled comfortably in the middle stages, took the lead early in straight, kept on well to the line and scored.

Made contact with a rail when entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passe suitable to race. Approaching the 150 Metres was bumped by GLORIOUS SUCCESS.

Bumped start, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

Slow to begin. Near the 100 Metres Z Purton was obliged to correct his mount when it shifted in towards SUPREME MASTERMIND.

After the event B Avdulla reported that his mount enjoyed a comfortable run during the race but did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and he could offer no explanation for its performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 150 Metres was checked when crowded between GOOD LUCK BABE which shifted out slightly after being bumped by GLORIOUS SUCCESS and FLYING LUCK (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in as it hung in. After considering the evidence Apprentice Wong was reprimanded and advised whilst the Stewards were satisfied that he had made an endeavour to prevent his mount from shifting in, in the circumstances he should have made a greater effort to avoid crowding the running of WINNING GOLD.

Slow to begin. Approaching the 100 Metres was checked when crowded between EXCELLENCE VALUE and FRANTANCK which was taken out by WINNING GOLD which shifted out after being checked.

Jumped well from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L on turn, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly, raced in midfield on the outside, there to turn, made some headway in straight to take a place.

Raced keenly after being crossed by KA YING SUPERB near the 1200 Metres. Approaching the 100 Metres was hampered and taken out by WINNING GOLD.

Bumped start, positioned a length behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

After the event B Thompson reported that his mount raced too keenly in the middle stages and came under pressure prior to entering the Home Straight before giving ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Slightly slow out and crowded, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final 200M.

After the event H T Mo reported that it was not the intention to lead but his mount raced keenly in the early stages and led without him pressuring the horse to do so. He said due to the manner in which KINGDOM OF RICHES raced it set a faster tempo in the early stages than he had intended. The performance of KINGDOM OF RICHES, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, KINGDOM OF RICHES will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shifted in at start, raced 2 wide in midfield, 2-1/2L back turning in, no clear run early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly and then raced tight between FLYING LUCK and GOOD LUCK BABE. The performance of FIVEFORTWO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FIVEFORTWO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
