Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Y L Chung, 5th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 6 lengths or so back, very wide into straight, made no impression in the run home.

Passing the 100 Metres went amiss in its left front leg and as a result fell, dislodging its rider L Hewitson. L Hewitson was subsequently transported to hospital for medical treatment. Samples were taken from the horse.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear on the outside, moved a bit closer after passing 700M, no cover throughout, very wide turning in, weakened early in straight when hard run took toll. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the 100 Metres was severely checked to avoid the fallen SEASONS WIT, resulting in its rider C L Chau being dislodged. C L Chau was subsequently transported to hospital for medical treatment. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a laceration to the left front fetlock. <26/6/2025 Additional Veterinary Reports> ETERNAL FORTUNE, which was severely checked after the 100 Metres, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse had sustained a laceration to the left front fetlock. ETERNAL FORTUNE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, ETERNAL FORTUNE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide towards rear, hard ridden from 400M, very wide turning in, made some progress in straight.

Leaving the 100 Metres was severely checked and became badly unbalanced to avoid the fallen SEASONS WIT, resulting in its rider K Teetan being dislodged. K Teetan was subsequently transported to hospital for medical treatment. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
