Average to begin, positioned 2-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, checked near 700M, 2 wide from 650M, angled out early in straight, closed off well to take a place.

Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was steadied when crowded between HEALTHY HAPPY and INVINCIBLE SHIELD which was taken out by DROMBEG BANNER which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

Fractious in the starting gates and jumped awkwardly, positioned 3 to 4 lengths behind the leader on rail, saved ground throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Bumped start, raced better than midfield on outer, 2 lengths or so back, there to turn, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

Began well, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, travelled keenly after passing 800M, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M.

Crowded at the start. After the event J Orman reported that his mount raced "flat” today. Trainer K W Lui advised that he would now give the horse a let-up. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, commenced move 600M, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line. (Wound to left hind leg) (See Racing Incidents.)

When questioned L Ferraris stated that his instructions were to go forward. He said in the early stages when positioned to the outside of DROMBEG BANNER he had initially expected that horse to go forward and cross DANCING CODE. He said when DROMBEG BANNER did not continue forward he then commenced to urge his mount forward with a view to crossing DROMBEG BANNER. He added as he did so DROMBEG BANNER was then ridden forward near the 900 Metres and as a consequence HEALTHY HAPPY was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
