Incident Report
Apprentice P N Wong (CHEVAL VALIANT) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that shortly after the start she allowed her mount to shift out when not clear of BINGO BABE, resulting in BINGO BABE having to be severely checked to avoid CHEVAL VALIANT. Apprentice Wong was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Saturday, 28 June 2025 and to expire on Sunday, 6 July 2025 on which day she may resume race riding (3 Hong Kong racedays – as she is not eligible to ride at Happy Valley). In addition, Apprentice Wong was fined the sum of $15,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered her poor race riding record. Leaving the 600 Metres improved into a run when there was not quite sufficient room to do so and as a result was crowded shortly after when HAPPY ACTION shifted out. Near the 500 Metres BINGO BABE was crowded by HAPPY ACTION which again shifted out. As a result BINGO BABE could not be fully tested between the 500 Metres and the 300 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Taken back from gate 9, raced towards rear on the inside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, made some progress in straight.

Jumped only fairly.
Taken back from gate 12, raced at rear on the outside, 6 lengths or so back, very wide into straight, made some headway in the run home.

<9/6/2025 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SAL was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Fractious in the starting gates and jumped awkwardly, positioned 3 to 4 lengths behind the leader on rail, saved ground throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.
Incident Report
In the middle stages lay out, resulting in its rider B Thompson having to correct his mount on a number of occasions. Near the 150 Metres was steadied when positioned close to THE ALL ROUNDER. Over the concluding stages, when placed under pressure, then lay out and was steadied when positioned close to THE ALL ROUNDER.
Out with rest, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, commenced move 600M, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line. (Wound to left hind leg) (See Racing Incidents.)
Incident Report
Leaving the 600 Metres BINGO BABE (K Teetan) improved into a run between HAPPY ACTION and AMAZING FUN where there was doubtful room. A short distance later HAPPY ACTION (B Thompson), which was having its first race start, lay out, resulting in BINGO BABE being taken out onto AMAZING FUN and causing DANCING CLASSICS to be severely checked when crowded by AMAZING FUN. K Teetan was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he improves into runs where there is sufficient room to do so. B Thompson was also reprimanded and advised in similar circumstances he would be expected to make a greater effort to straighten his mounts than what he did on this occasion. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a laceration to the right front cannon. Sent for sampling post-race.
Clean jump, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on very well in straight, won by 1-1/4L.
Incident Report
Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded for room between NOBLE DELUXE which shifted in and away from STRAIGHT TO GLORY and THE ALL ROUNDER which shifted out slightly.
