Crowded on jumping, raced in midfield on the outside, moved a bit closer turning in, made some progress early in straight, peaked 200M, ran on evenly to the line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Near the 900 Metres was checked when crowded between AWESOME TREASURE (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in and DIVINE MOONLIGHT which shifted out after being steadied away from HONG KONG HALL (B Avdulla) which shifted in when not quite clear. Both Apprentice Wong and B Avdulla were severely reprimanded. In this incident, DIVINE MOONLIGHT, which was racing keenly, contributed to the interference to GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out after passing 700M, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was crowded between DIVINE MOONLIGHT and BULLISH PRIDE, both of which shifted ground. M Chadwick (SHINE BRIGHT) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 700 Metres he directed his mount to the outside of BULLISH PRIDE, resulting in SHINE BRIGHT making contact with INVINCIBLE IBIS and taking INVINCIBLE IBIS from its rightful running and resulting in INVINCIBLE IBIS becoming unbalanced, shifting out and also resulting in CIRCUIT CENTURY being checked away from INVINCIBLE IBIS. M Chadwick was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 11 June 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record. Sent for sampling post-race.

M Chadwick was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 700 Metres (see INVINCIBLE IBIS). After the event M Chadwick stated that the intention was to hold an on-pace position with cover. He said when his mount jumped only fairly and then was bumped by SUNNY SING SPIRIT it settled further back than intended.

Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Average to begin, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, not enough room early in straight, cleared 150M, finished off strongly to score by a neck.

Shifted in abruptly at start and made contact, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 100M, weakened thereafter.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 250 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running to the inside of BULLISH PRIDE which shifted in. SUNNY SING SPIRIT was then shifted to the outside of BULLISH PRIDE to secure clear running.

Moderately away, raced towards rear on the outside, 4-1/2L back turning in, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Leaving the 900 Metres was checked to avoid GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY which shifted out when being checked. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, CALL ME GORGEOUS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Away with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 wide turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared 200M, made some progress thereafter.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Leaving the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of AWESOME TREASURE to obtain clear running. Leaving the 200 Metres BULLISH PRIDE was then disappointed for clear running between AWESOME TREASURE and KING ALLOY and as a result did not obtain clear running until leaving the 100 Metres.

Crowded on jumping, raced at tail, 7 lengths back, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, made some headway in straight.

Jumped well, raced in 2nd, a length behind the leader, easy run to turn, kept on well in straight to take a place, always just held.

Became fractious in the Parade Ring, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide towards rear, 4 lengths or so back turning in, kept on same pace in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Checked near the 700 Metres. After the event L Hewitson reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the race and lay in in the Home Straight. After the race the Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse had sustained a cut to its right front leg.

Began well, raced in 3rd, 1-1/2L back, same margin back on turn, showed good response in straight, took the lead 100M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner close home. (See Racing Incidents.)

In the early and middle stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres got its head up when being shifted behind BEAUTY MISSILE to obtain cover.
