Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on ZETTA FORCE at the request of Trainer T P Yung. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, ZETTA FORCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, 3 lengths back, saved ground on turn, finished off evenly.

After the event M L Yeung advised that he was instructed to hold a forward position and as a result in the early stages he rode his mount along to comply with his instructions.

Jumped only fairly, positioned 2 wide, 5 lengths or so back, angled out 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame without threatening.

Shortly after the start made contact with MAGIC BEANS. After the event Apprentice P N Wong confirmed that from an inside barrier she was instructed to hold an on-pace position. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Apprentice P N Wong, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, she was nonetheless reminded of her obligation to ensure that she fully rides her mounts out to the finish of the race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced towards rear on the inside, 7 lengths back turning in, made some headway in straight.

When questioned H Bowman stated that near the 300 Metres his mount was held up for clear running between I P O BROS and LUCKY STATEMENT. He added after being able to commence to ride his mount along near the 250 Metres he then shifted to the outside of I P O BROS, however, near the 100 Metres was steadied when unable to continue forward when crowded between I P O BROS and ZETTA FORCE (C L Chau) which shifted in. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care. H Bowman further stated that over the final 100 Metres he was unable to ride his mount out to the finish when held up behind ZETTA FORCE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide in midfield, 4 lengths back, similar position on turn, made contact 350M, finished off evenly.

Jumped only fairly and then raced tight to the inside of ZETTA FORCE which shifted in slightly. Near the 400 Metres lay out and was steadied when positioned close to MAGIC BEANS. EVERYONE’S CLASSIC was then shifted to the outside of MAGIC BEANS where it secured clear running approaching the 350 Metres.

Began awkwardly and made contact, raced 2 wide, 6 lengths back, same margin back on turn, made reasonable progress in straight.

Bumped shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages and for some distance near the 900 Metres was steadied away from EXCEL WONGCHOY.
