Moderately away from gate 1, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, same position on turn, finished off well to take 2nd.

Incident Report
When placed under pressure over the final 250 Metres lay in, resulting in its rider H Bowman having to correct his mount on a number of occasions. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slowly away, raced at tail, 7 lengths back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Near the 700 Metres was taken wider by CROSSBORDERPEGASUS when that runner shifted to the outside of CIRCUIT DUFFY. As a result, LUCKY SYMPHONY raced very wide and without cover for some distance thereafter. Sent for sampling post-race.

Fast into stride, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off evenly.

Knuckled over badly on jumping and lost ground. In the middle stages raced keenly.

Crowded shortly after start, raced 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, there to turn, no daylight early in straight, made minor progress thereafter.

On jumping knuckled over and became unbalanced. After the event, C L Chau reported that his instructions were to settle where comfortable. He said after commencing well and when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow his mount to stride forward and lead to avoid covering additional ground. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued and stated that SHINY RAPIDASH had been slow out of the starting gates at its previous race starts and was able to take up a more forward position today when it jumped well.

Made contact at start, raced in midfield on the outside, 4 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind SHINY RAPIDASH. After the event, J Orman confirmed the instructions were to endeavour to lead the event. He said when HAPPY PARK commenced awkwardly it settled further back in the field than what had been intended.

Jumped awkwardly, taken back to race towards rear on the inside, 5 lengths or so back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared 300M, finished off strongly to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly, then shifted in and made contact with DASH. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, L Ferraris stated that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event. He said in the Home Straight DAZZLING FIT lay in and was reluctant to improve between DASH and SUPER LOVE near the 250 Metres. He added he then became held up behind SUPER LOVE between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres before being able to obtain clear running to the outside of SUPER LOVE where it finished the race off well.

Shifted in at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, travelled well in the middle stages, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well to the line and scored. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly. Leaving the 1000 Metres, when racing keenly, got its head up when being steadied to avoid DASH (L Hewitson) which shifted in. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care. Raced wide and without cover from the 900 Metres. Leaving the 100 Metres was eased when placed in restricted room between DASH and AMAZING GALAXY, both of which shifted ground slightly.

Average to begin, sent forward to race prominently but trapped 3 wide, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 300M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Slow to begin. In the early stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid SUPER LOVE.
