Jumped well, sent forward to race prominently, a length or so back at 400M, peaked on run 250M, weakened gradually final furlong.

For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' side, no clear run until final 200M, finished off evenly.

Jumped well, positioned a length behind the leader on the stands' side, hard ridden after passing 400M, kept on well until approaching 100M, weakened gradually close home.

On jumping was crowded by SPECIAL HEDGE. In the middle stages lay out and near the 650 Metres was steadied to avoid SIGHT DREAMER.

Began well from gate 1, raced slightly behind midfield, nearer to the middle track, 3 to 4 lengths back at 400M, hard ridden 300M but showed no response, weakened thereafter.

Shortly after the start raced tight to the inside of MASTER TRILLION which shifted in after bumping with SPECIAL HEDGE. Lay in in the early part of the Home Straight, resulting in its rider K C Leung having to stop riding and straighten his mount near the 300 Metres. PATCH OF STARS then lay in for the remainder of the event.

Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping, always outpaced and behind.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by DECRELOT. FLYING AMANI was then shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier in the early stages.

Fast into stride, tracked leaders on the stands' rail, ridden after passing 400M but not enough room, weakened gradually from 250M, inconvenienced 150M, eased final 100M.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Making the Home Turn was shifted to the outside of JOYFUL TREASURE to secure clear running and in this incident made contact with SIGHT DREAMER. For a short distance near the 250 Metres raced tight between SIGHT DREAMER and JOYFUL TREASURE.

Commenced well, positioned 2 to 3 lengths behind the leader, 2 away from the stands' rail, hard ridden from 300M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 100M. (Lame right front leg next day.)

Shortly after the start was crowded, bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.

Slowly away, raced towards rear of the main group, 6 lengths back at 400M, made no progress thereafter.

Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced.

Stumbled as stalls opened and missed break, raced at rear throughout, never a factor. (See Racing Incidents.)

Approaching the 200 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between THE HEIR and SIGHT DREAMER which shifted out when giving ground. As a result, THUNDER BLINK could not obtain clear running until near the 150 Metres.

Jumped only fairly, raced towards rear on the stands' side, moved closer in the middle stages, unable to obtain clear run until final 100M, finished off strongly to take 2nd. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
On jumping was crowded between THE HEIR and THUNDER BLINK which shifted out. After the event, R Moore stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He said after racing in restricted room between SPECIAL HEDGE and PATCH OF STARS near the 300 Metres his mount then gave ground from that point. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced better than midfield, hard ridden approaching 350M, kept on well to take a place without threatening.

Crowded on jumping between THE HEIR and SUNNY DARLING. Near the 250 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by SPECIAL HEDGE.

Average to begin sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably in the middle stages, hard ridden after passing 250M, showed very good response, easily scored, impressive.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Crowded shortly after start, raced behind midfield, kept on same pace final 400M.
