Bumped shortly after start, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover from 600M, very wide into straight, finished off evenly.
Incident Report

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 8-1/2L back turning in, made some progress in straight.
Incident Report
Over the final 100 Metres lay in under pressure and near the 50 Metres made contact with SNOWTHORN. Sent for sampling post-race.
Made contact at start, raced 2 wide in midfield, angled out after passing 400M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress early in straight, peaked 100M, ran on evenly to the line.
Incident Report
Near the 1150 Metres was steadied to avoid MOTOMAN which shifted out and way from NEBRASKAN. Prior to declaring weighed-in, the Stewards gave consideration as to whether there were grounds for a protest/objection against POWER KOEPP being declared the 4th placegetter when POWER KOEPP shifted in approaching the 50 Metres. As the Stewards were satisfied that BEAUTY THUNDER had not established clear running to the inside of POWER KOEPP, they declined to lodge a protest/objection when there were not sufficient grounds to do so. Approaching the 50 Metres was eased and shifted to the outside of POWER KOEPP when disappointed for clear running.
Away well, taken back to race behind midfield on the outside, bumped and unbalanced near 550M, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight.
Incident Report
Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by LUCKY ARCHANGEL which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.
Taken back from gate 11, raced towards rear on the outside, 7 lengths back turning in, finished off very strongly to take 2nd, nearest finish.
Incident Report
Passing the 50 Metres was bumped by POWER KOEPP (M Chadwick) which shifted in whilst being ridden along. M Chadwick was reprimanded. After the event, B Avdulla reported that making the turns near the 1000 Metres and after the 600 Metres his mount lay out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/2L turning in, kept on very well in straight and scored.
Incident Report
Making the first turn lay out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, dropped towards rear from 500M, 5 lengths or so back turning in, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)
Incident Report
Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Bumped shortly after start, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide from 550M, 6 to 7 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place.
Incident Report
After the event, M F Poon stated that with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time his mount was under pressure throughout the race and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Began only fairly and made contact, raced 2 wide better than midfield, difficult to settle in the early stages, found rail near 650M, 2-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final 150M.
Incident Report
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Began well from a tricky draw, prominent on outer, raced wide and without cover until near 600M, positioned 2 wide, 2 lengths back in the middle stages, kept on evenly in straight.
Incident Report
When questioned, L Ferraris stated that his instructions were to take up a forward position and lead if possible. He said he was also given instructions not to make too much use of his mount to do so. He said after ONE FOR ALL commenced well he expected the horse to show its natural early pace to cross runners to its inside but when POWER KOEPP and NEBRASKAN held their positions to his inside ONE FOR ALL was obliged to race very wide making the first turn. He added as a result he elected to obtain cover behind NEBRASKAN along the Back Straight, however, making the Home Turn ONE FOR ALL became awkward in its action and when under pressure in the Home Straight he was concerned there may be something amiss with his mount. Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions were to lead and advised that he expected ONE FOR ALL to be able to lead without being pressured to do so as there did not appear to be strong pace in the race. He added as such he had instructed Jockey Ferraris not to make too much use of his mount in the early stages as he felt the horse would have sufficient pace to cross runners to its inside. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
