Began smartly, tracked leaders on the inside, saved ground throughout, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 150M, kept on strongly to the line and scored. (Jockey dropped whip 100M.)

When being eased to allow SPEEDY FORTUNE to cross after the 600 Metres commenced to race keenly for some distance thereafter, shifted out and made contact with PHILOS. Near the 100 Metres A Atzeni dropped his whip. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, ran on evenly to take 2nd.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, angled out early in straight, finished off well to take a place without threatening.

Shifted out after the 600 Metres and was bumped. Near the 250 Metres was eased and shifted to the outside of DAN ATTACK to obtain clear running.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped only fairly. After the 600 Metres was bumped by DAY DAY VICTORY which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped at the start. Near the 150 Metres was eased and shifted to the inside of WIND SPEEDER to continue into clear running when WIND SPEEDER shifted in slightly.

Jumped with them, raced 3 wide behind midfield, dropped towards rear 500M, 5 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in the run home.

Near the 550 Metres was steadied to avoid GORGEOUS VITALITY.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide better than midfield, made contact near 550M, dropped to midfield on turn, very wide into straight, kept on same pace in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped at the start. Leaving the 600 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced. Near the 550 Metres was then steadied when crowded between STRIVE FOR GLORY which shifted in and away from DAN ATTACK and PHILOS which was taken out by PLENTIFUL. After the event, L Ferraris reported that after being crowded leaving the 600 Metres GORGEOUS VITALITY lost momentum and did not finish the race off after that. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced prominently but trapped very wide in the early stages, 2 wide from 500M, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.) (Lame left front leg next day morning.)

Shortly after the start was bumped. After the event, H Bowman stated that he was given no specific instructions. He said in the early stages when caught wide he elected to continue forward to take up a position outside the lead to avoid covering additional ground. He added that due to the wide barrier and having to make use of his mount to go forward the horse did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <23/1/2025 Additional Veterinary Report>DAN ATTACK, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. DAN ATTACK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to ace again, DAN ATTACK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the outside, 6-1/2L back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Jumped well from a tricky draw, taken back to race behind midfield on the outside, very wide into straight, failed to make any progress in the run home.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the event, H T Mo reported that he was given no specific instructions but had expected to race in a more forward position. He said WOOD ON FIRE failed to show sufficient pace to do so and as a result settled further back than intended.

Began well from a wide draw, raced prominently but trapped wide, dropped to midfield on turn, weakened early in straight when hard run took toll.

Slow to begin. In the early stages raced keenly and leaving the 600 Metres lay out and made contact with GORGEOUS VITALITY. A short distance later PHILOS was then crowded between GORGEOUS VITALITY and PLENTIFUL which shifted out slightly when being eased to allow SPEEDY FORTUNE to cross.
