Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide in midfield, there to turn, made minor progress in straight.

Near the 150 Metres L Ferraris dropped his left rein for a number of strides. Sent for sampling post-race.

Quickly into stride, showed good speed to take the lead, enjoyed the easy lead in the middle stages, kept on very well in straight and scored.

Began only fairly from a wide draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, 7 to 8 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped only fairly. Approaching the winning post was steadied when crowded between ISLAND BREEZES and MEEPMEEP (B Avdulla) which shifted out. B Avdulla was advised to exercise more care.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, passed some tired runners in straight.

Bumped at the start and then from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres was briefly held up for clear running behind ISLAND BREEZES. Approaching the 250 Metres was then shifted to the outside of ISLAND BREEZES to obtain clear running. Over the concluding stages L Hewitson dropped his right rein for a number of strides.

Raced tight shortly after start, positioned 6 lengths behind the leader on rail, saved ground on turn, kept to inside after straightening and made little progress.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 1100 Metres was bumped when racing tight to the inside of COLOURFUL WINNER which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced 3 wide behind midfield, 7 lengths back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight.

Jumped awkwardly. Passing the 800 Metres was steadied when it was crowded by ISLAND BREEZES (K Teetan) which shifted in and away from HEALTHY GOLF when racing greenly. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care.

Began fairly from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between COLOURFUL WINNER and GALLANT EPOCH which shifted out. When questioned regarding his riding in the early part of the Home Straight, K C Leung stated that after having a wide run behind SUPER LEGENDS, he elected to remain racing behind that runner as SUPER LEGENDS was a favoured runner in the event and it would provide his mount with the opportunity to improve into the Home Straight with cover. He said when SUPER LEGENDS responded better to the urgings of its rider near the 250 Metres, DAY DAY VICTORY was unable to continue to follow SUPER LEGENDS and finished the race off only fairly. After considering his explanation, the Stewards found the tactics adopted by Jockey Leung were reasonable in the circumstances.

After the event, A Hamelin reported that his mount came under pressure from the 600 Metres and although crowded near the 150 Metres ERNEST FEELING did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 lengths or so back turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 1100 Metres became unbalance when it bumped with GALLANT EPOCH when that runner was racing tight to the inside of COLOURFUL WINNER. After the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid VANTASTIC CHOICE which shifted out when being crossed by COLOURFUL WINNER. Near the 150 Metres was steadied when crowded between DAY DAY VICTORY which shifted in slightly and ERNEST FEELING which was taken out by BIENVENUE (L Hewitson) when that runner improved into doubtful room between ERNEST FEELING and GALLANT EPOCH (A Atzeni) which then shifted out. L Hewitson was reprimanded and advised he must ensure there is sufficient room when he is improving into runs. A Atzeni was severely reprimanded and advised he must stop riding and straighten his mounts when they shift ground whilst he is not clear to do so.

Began well from a wide draw, taken back to race at rear on the outside, still well back on turn, failed to make any progress in straight.
