Bumped at the start. After the 200 Metres improved into a narrow run between FUN TOGETHER and PRAY FOR MIR and raced tight for a short distance thereafter.

Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping. After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded between PRAY FOR MIR and SWEET ENCOUNTER which was taken in by SPEED DRAGON. Taken wider after the 350 Metres. Y L Chung was issued with a warning for using his whip in a manner where he failed to provide his mount with an opportunity to respond to his whip use over the final 200 Metres.

Bumped on the hindquarters at start, raced behind midfield on outer, a bit closer in the middle stages, 3 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M.

Bumped at the start. Approaching the 350 Metres was held up for clear running behind CHING and was then shifted out to obtain clear running. M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care. After the event, M L Yeung reported that he was instructed to ride his mount where comfortable. He said FLAGSHIP WARRIOR raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 900 Metres was steadied away from CHING.

Jumped with them, raced towards rear on the outside, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

After the event, Z Purton stated that his mount made an respiratory noise. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of TURIN STARSPANGLED was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, TURIN STARSPANGLED will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
