Made contact at start, raced towards rear on the outside, moved closer 1100M, positioned slightly behind midfield in the middle stages, challenged the leader turning in, hit the front 200M, kept on well to the line and scored.

After the 600 Metres was momentarily crowded by HELENE WARRIOR which lay in before being corrected by its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away with them, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader turning in, kept on very well in straight, always just held.

Average to begin, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead approaching 1200M, led by 3/4L in the middle stages, challenged by rivals turning in, peaked and headed 200M, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began fairly from the widest draw, raced 3 wide with no cover, 2 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Near the 300 Metres was steadied away from GALLANT WAKING and shifted out to continue into clear running.

Slowly away, raced 2 wide at rear, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in straight. (Lame right front leg next day.)

In the early stages raced keenly when being shifted behind SUPER UNICORN to obtain cover. Checked to avoid SAMARKAND near the 350 Metres.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 450M, very wide into straight, finished off very strongly to be nearest on line, just beaten by a narrow margin.

After improving to the inside of SUPER UNICORN leaving the 1500 Metres then raced tight to the inside of that runner for some distance thereafter. Hung in in the Home Straight.

Made contact at start, taken back to race at tail, 6 lengths back on turn, made good progress in straight without threatening.

K Teetan was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 350 Metres, when positioned too close to the heels of HELENE WARRIOR, he attempted to improve to that runner’s outside for some distance when there was not sufficient room to do so, resulting in his mount striking the heels of HELENE WARRIOR, blundering badly and becoming unbalanced, also resulting in HELENE WARRIOR becoming badly unbalanced when galloped on and causing I CAN, which was following SAMARKAND, to be checked to avoid the heels of that horse. K Teetan was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 13 November 2024 at Happy Valley. In addition, Jockey Teetan was fined $60,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 3 and also considered his very good race riding record. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Out in line, took the early lead, headed approaching 1200M, allowed rival to cross 1000M, sat 1-1/2L behind the leader in the middle stages, kept on well in straight, always just held.

Bumped at the start. Near the 350 Metres was struck on the heels by SAMARKAND and as a result became badly unbalanced and lost ground. H Bowman stated that he eased his mount down after this incident when he felt there was something amiss. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
