Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide with cover, 2 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Shifted out abruptly on jumping, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on well to the line and scored.

Bumped heavily and unbalanced at start, raced 2 wide in midfield, raced tight near 600M, checked 400M, made no progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly and was checked shortly after when crowded between SING DRAGON and DANCING CODE which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Held up on the Home Turn.

Severely checked shortly after start, raced behind midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared 150M, finished off well to make frame without threatening.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by LUCKY ENCOUNTER which shifted out. Shifted in approaching the 450 Metres and was bumped.

Made contact shortly after start, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, 1/2L back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Near the 1150 Metres was placed in restricted room between SING DRAGON and WONDERSTAR which shifted out slightly. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied and crowded by DANCING CODE which was taken in by TOMODACHI KOKOROE (K Teetan) which lay in at that point. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care and to make a greater effort in similar circumstances to prevent his mounts from shifting in. After the event, M F Poon stated that after his mount was crowded in the early stages, it was then obliged to race very wide and without cover thereafter. He added as a consequence GORGEOUS WIN was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Approaching the 450 Metres was bumped by SIX PACK which shifted in.

Began only fairly, raced at tail, 6-1/2L back, saved ground on turn, failed to close off in straight.

After the event, A Badel stated that after his mount commenced well, he was able to obtain a handy position, however, DANCING CODE travelled a little keenly and as a result did not finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 2 wide at rear, 6 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, taken wide in straight and finished off strongly to be nearest on line.

On jumping knuckled over, became unbalanced and lost ground. Near the 900 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by DANCING CODE which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. After the event, H Bowman stated that after losing ground at the start SUPERB CAPITALIST settled further back than anticipated and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
