Jumped on terms, settled in midfield but never too far behind leaders, switched into clear passing 200M before giving a strong kick to get up just in time.

Away well enough, up with early pace before easing back to sit behind leaders, challenged strongly for the lead from 250M, led nearing 50M but was caught by winner last stride.

Caught wide early from draw 10 before obtaining a prominent spot outside leader 700M out, fought hard in the straight vying for the lead, kept on well to the line only beaten narrowly by first two.

Shifted out at the start and made contact with SON PAK FU.

From draw 1 obtained a midfield position along the inside, ran on steadily on straightening to finish 4th but was always held by leaders over final 200M.

Began only fairly, settled towards the rear of the main group 4Ls off the pace, responded moderately final 300M, was making some progress on leaders but couldn't be ridden out late stages.

Jumped only fairly. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind TURQUOISE VICTORY which shifted in.

Rushed forward and crossed to the lead 750M, fought hard early straight trying to hold on for the lead, headed near 150M before fading away late stages.

Restrained to race at the back of the main group about 4Ls off the pace, ran home fairly and was never going the pace to challenge leaders. (Bled.)

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, ROMANTIC SON will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped at the start, switched off to race in detached last 8-9Ls off the pace, had plenty to do 300M but ran past beaten horses only. Never a threat to leaders.

Caught racing wide no cover in midfield, couldn't go on passing 300M, weakened. (No Vet findings.)

K C Leung stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Quickly into stride, up with early pace before sitting back to track leaders, run ended 250M then weakened rapidly to finish last.
