In midfield along the fence, travelled well into straight but had to wait for a run, shifted lane 250M to continue into clear running before seeing it out strongly to win by 1.5L.

Shortly after the start was eased to avoid LUCKY MAN which shifted out slightly. Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of INVICTUS to continue into clear running. Sent for sampling post-race

Jumped only fairly from draw 1, settled in the group chasing leaders, responded well on straightening, led nearing 200M, kept on to the line but couldn't hold off winner final 150m.

Began well from a middle draw, settled down 2-wide in midfield, lay in when placed under pressure in the home straight, ran to the line steadily for 3rd.

From draw 14 showed good pace early stages, went forward setting fast tempo, headed by pursuing rivals near 200M, faded late stages.

H Bowman confirmed that the instructions were to go forward but not necessarily lead. He said when his mount showed good pace in the early stages he allowed it to stride forward to lead the event.

Pressed forward under 10lb claimer, chased leader going into home turn, fought hard to stay in contention early straight, weakened final 100M. (Jockey reminded to ride out to the finish.)

Shifted out approaching the 400 Metres and made contact with GOOD LUCK BABE. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Apprentice H Y Yuen, 5th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, she was nonetheless reminded of her obligation to ensure that she fully rides her mounts out to the finish of the race.

Jumped only fairly, settled at the rear early, moved closer to midfield passing 800M, held up 400M to 300M before closing off fairly. No threat to leaders.

Jumped only fairly. After improving to the inside of JOYFUL JOY near the 400 Metres then had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres when held up behind PRESTIGE ALWAYS.

Began only fairly, ended up racing near last, had some work to do 400M but responded only fairly to pressure.

From wide draw obliged to settle behind midfield along the 3-path, not quickened when asked in the straight. Never dangerous.

M F Poon stated that whilst the intention was to hold a more forward position he was obliged to settle further back in the field to avoid racing without cover when unable to cross runners to his inside.

Away in line, raced in second half of the field 5-6Ls back, failed to quicken final 400M. (Jockey - unable to finish off the race which he attributed to the horse carrying 133lbs and still being relatively immature.)

Z Purton stated that his mount raced a little keenly during the race. He said in the Home Straight INVICTUS DRAGON was unable to finish the race off which he attributed to the horse carrying a high weight of 133 lbs and still being relatively immature. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well from draw 2 to be chasing leader along the fence, weakened quickly passing 300M. (No Vet findings.)

Stayed close enough in the group chasing leaders, quickly beaten turning home and dropped away. (Blood in trachea / continuous epiglottic entrapment.)

Near the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid GOOD LUCK BABE when that runner shifted out whilst giving ground. H Bentley reported that his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight but could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea and also found the horse to have a continuous epiglottic entrapment. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY MAN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Caught 3-wide without cover chasing leaders, couldn't sustain run passing 350M and weakened away.

Approaching the 400 Metres CIRCUIT FIERY shifted out and made contact with GOOD LUCK BABE. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Jumped on terms but soon dropped back to race at the back, had big task in hand 400M and couldn't go on.

For some distance approaching the 900 Metres raced keenly and was steadied away from PRESTIGE EMPEROR.

From wide draw dropped back to a rearward position on settling, couldn't keep up passing 400M, weakened and finished tailed out. (Unacceptable Performance. / No Vet findings.)

The performance of PRESTIGE EMPEROR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, PRESTIGE EMPEROR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
