Bumped start, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, no daylight early in straight, cleared 200M, finished off evenly.

On jumping was bumped by GOLDFIELD, resulting in NUCLEOZOR blundering and losing ground. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.

Commenced well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, wider on turn, showed some response early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened gradually thereafter.

Noted to have blood in the mouth at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Shifted in on jumping and was bumped on the hindquarters. C L Chau reported that his mount raced keenly in the early stages when being shifted in to obtain cover behind SHANWAH. He added as a result LUCKY SAM GOR finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that after leading the event her mount responded only fairly to her riding and was one-paced to the finish. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, VOYAGE SAMURAI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Near the 300 Metres made contact with AMAZING PARTNERS due to both runners shifting ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
