Near the 550 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by HEY BROS (K Teetan) which lay in before being corrected by its rider. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Lay in in the Home Straight. Approaching the 200 Metres L Hewitson briefly dropped his right rein. L Hewitson stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and the early stages being run inside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

E Brown stated that his mount was disadvantaged by the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time and as a result could not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was bumped by WORLD HERO which shifted out slightly. When RAINBOW SEVEN was being eased down near the 800 Metres FULL OF LAUGHTER got its head up when being steadied away from RAINBOW SEVEN.

A Atzeni stated that when he was concerned there was something amiss with the horse along the Back Straight he elected to retire it from the event. Trainer K W Lui stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the race but he could offer no explanation in respect to the concerns expressed by Jockey Atzeni. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of RAINBOW SEVEN was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, RAINBOW SEVEN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. <24/6/2026 – 27 May 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting – Race 6 (730)> Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings.
