C Williams stated that his mount lunged forward just prior to the start being effected and as a result jumped only fairly and then was crowded between TRINITY TREASURE and NATURAL NUMBERS. He said ENDUED settled further back in the field when it did not show pace in the early stages to hold a more forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, angled out 450M, not enough room early in straight, cleared 200M, one-paced thereafter.

L Hewitson stated that he was issued with no specific instructions and when the horse commenced well he was able to lead the event.
Slightly slow out, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run until final 50M, finished off evenly.

Bumped heavily on jumping and became unbalanced. Making the Home Turn shifted out and made contact with FAMILY JEWEL when being shifted to the outside of DRAGON ON SNOW to improve into the race. SHAMUS STORM then had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the outside, still well back on turn, made very good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Near the 450 Metres was bumped when racing tight between ENDUED and SHAMUS STORM which shifted out. J Moreira stated that after jumping only fairly and then being bumped at the start his mount settled further back than intended. He added that FAMILY JEWEL finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Away well, raced 2 wide in midfield, there to turn, kept on same pace in straight.

Began well from gate 1, positioned 1-1/4L behind the leader on rail, easy run to turn, showed good response in straight, took the lead 150M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Made contact with a rail on entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Shortly after the start was bumped by BLAZING WUKONG. K Teetan stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to settle back in the field to obtain cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Made contact at start, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed approaching 200M, weakened thereafter.

Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start and was corrected by its rider. H Bowman stated that from his wide barrier he was obliged to make some use of the horse in the early stages to go forward to avoid covering additional ground. He added in the Home Straight SHANWAH did not respond to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
