Out with rest, raced 3 wide better than midfield early, 2 wide from 1050M, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, one-paced in the run home.

Shifted out abruptly at the start. Near the 100 Metres made contact with SIX PACK, resulting in WINNING OVATION becoming unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began awkwardly and bumped, raced towards rear on the inside, 6 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Prior to declaring weighed-in Trainer D J Whyte and Jockey K Teetan viewed the patrol films to ascertain if there were grounds for a protest/objection against WINNING OVATION being declared the winner. When connections declined to lodge a protest/objection and the Stewards were satisfied that the contact between SIX PACK and WINNING OVATION (Y L Chung) near the 100 Metres was principally due to SIX PACK shifting ground and having regard to the manner in which both horses finished the race off, they declined to lodge a protest/objection and weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. At a subsequent inquiry Y L Chung and K Teetan were advised to exercise more care to prevent their mounts from shifting ground and making contact. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by WINNING OVATION which shifted out abruptly.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by DROMBEG BANNER which shifted out. Near the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between INFINITE RESOLVE and STEPS AHEAD which was giving ground, resulting in LIGHT YEARS CHARM making contact with STEPS AHEAD.

Slightly slow out, raced 3 wide slightly behind midfield, moved closer after passing 1200M, no cover from 900M, 1 to 2 lengths back on turn, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 50M.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. <23/3/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped on jumping, trapped very wide early, a length or so back, 2 wide from 900M, same margin back on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly. In the early stages of the Home Straight lay in when being shifted to the outside of MOMENTS IN TIME. Z Purton stated that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 150 Metres was eased when bumped by LIGHT YEARS CHARM. L Hewitson stated that the intention was to go forward but obtain cover if possible. He said when unable to obtain cover he was obliged to race outside the leader DROMBEG BANNER where his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well, raced prominently, took the lead near 1250M, led by a length in the middle stages, kept on well in straight, shifted out abruptly 100M, always doing enough.

Shifted out on jumping and was bumped. A Atzeni stated that his mount ran inside standard time in the early and middle stages when it raced keenly in the lead. He added as a result DROMBEG BANNER was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well from the widest draw, showed no early speed, taken back to race at tail, 7 lengths or so back turning in, kept on same pace in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)
