Bumped shortly after start, taken back to race at tail, 7 lengths or so back, very wide turning in, stumbled near 350M, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Making the first turn near the 1400 Metres was steadied when briefly crowded by AMAZING AWARD when that runner was taken in by NIGHT PUROSANGUE which raced tight to the inside of STORMI (C L Chau). C L Chau was advised to exercise more care. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 10, raced in 2nd early, sat right behind the leader after passing 650M, saved ground on turn, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 50M, headed close home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with WINNING DIAMOND.

Bumped start and unbalanced, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, angled out early in straight, finished off very strongly to score by a narrow margin.

Bumped on jumping. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from the widest draw, raced prominently but trapped 3 wide, 2 wide from 700M, 1-1/4L back turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

M F Poon stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn.

Jumped well from a wide draw, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 50M.

Kicked a rail in the Parade Ring, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Average to begin, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, one-paced in the run home.

On jumping made contact with STORMI due to both runners shifting ground. M L Yeung stated that his mount, which was racing with a crossed nose band for the first time, appeared to resent this gear during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. M L Yeung was warned for using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on one occasion near the 200 Metres.
